- 4 cups maida (all-purpose flour)
- 2 teaspoons kalonji
- 2 teaspoons red chili powder
- salt for taste
- cooking oil for deep frying
Procedure:
- Put the maida into a bowl
- add the red chillie powder, the kalonji, and the salt into the maida
- also add water; mix well
- divide the mix into small round balls
- roll the balls into flour so that the balls are covered with flour
- flatten the balls so that they are very thin sheets
- cut the thin sheets into many rows and columns so there are many pieces shaped like diamonds
- deep fry the pieces until they are golden brown and very crisp
- it will be crispy for about a month
